De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Basic Education has officially been accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as an Assessment Center for three key initial qualifications: Bookkeeping (NC III), Computer Systems Servicing (NC II), and Tourism Promotion Services (NC II).
With this milestone, DLSU-D Basic Education becomes the only TESDA-accredited center in Dasmariñas City offering assessments in Tourism Promotion Services and Computer Systems Servicing, further strengthening its role as a premier institution for skills-based and values-driven education.
Since 2024, TESDA certification is now integrated into the Senior High School Program of DLSU-D, providing learners with the opportunity to graduate not only with a diploma but also with industry-recognized certifications that open pathways to immediate employment, entrepreneurship, or higher education.
Looking ahead, DLSU-D envisions expanding its TESDA offerings by pursuing accreditation as a full-fledged training center and eventually offering TESDA Diploma Courses. This expansion underscores the University’s commitment to broaden opportunities for students and the wider community.
“More than just the revenues it may generate, the establishment of this TESDA Assessment Center is anchored on our Lasallian mission to provide a human and Christian education as it will also serve as a center for community engagement, equipping learners and partners with relevant skills that can transform lives and communities.”
DLSU-D extends its congratulations and gratitude to all administrators, faculty, staff, and stakeholders whose collective support made this milestone possible.
Animo La Salle!
