Around 1,000 students of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas High School participated in a climate protest in response to Pope Francis’ Laudato Si encyclical on the protection of our common home.
Students from Junior and Senior High School assembled for the #globalclimatestrike in front of the HS parking area and in front of the CTHM Building last September 27 and showcased their creativity by bearing placards stating their hopes for the future of the planet.
"Similar to the response of our founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle during his time to the sign of the times, Grades 9 and 10 and selected SHS classes shall also respond to the times by joining the global climate strike,” DLSU-D High School Vice Principal Marlon Pareja said in his memorandum to the community.
