Representatives from DLSU-D Senior High School Department and Sang Ju Girls High School - South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focusing on academic and cultural exchange programs.
According DLSU-D Senior High School Principal Marlon C. Pareja, the partnership between the two schools will be for an exchange program wherein students from Sang Ju Girls School will come to the Philippines to homestay with DLSU-D students. DLSU-D SHS students will also go to South Korea with the same arrangements.
“Aside from cultural exchanges, honing their English fluency, or meeting new friends, the program teaches our students resiliency which will prepare them to be global citizens,” Pareja said in an interview.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by DLSU-D President Francisco de la Rosa VI FSC, SHS Principal Marlon Pareja, Vice President for Linkages and Advancement Dr. Sonia Gementiza, and Sang Ju Principal Kang Byunghyo.
