FOR STUDENTS
LASALLIAN INTEGRATION AND FORMATIVE ENCOUNTERS (L.I.F.E):
Recollection 1: Kaloobang Lasalyano
The first recollection seeks to accompany freshmen in the process of discovering their identity as persons, Christians, and Lasallians. It provides opportunities to encounter the God of kagandahang-loob (graciousness) and to deepen their understanding of their unique value. Anchored in Lasallian spirituality and the Rheims Experience of St. John Baptist de La Salle, this program fosters appreciation of Lasallian core values and prayer practices. The recollection is framed by the Lasallian invocation: “Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.”
Recollection 2: Ugnayang Lasalyano
The second recollection, intended for sophomores, functions as an annual spiritual exercise that highlights God’s presence of love and compassion in moments of joy and sorrow, light and darkness. It emphasizes inclusivity, holistic care for all people, and stewardship of creation. Students are guided to share life-giving love in all relationships, following the example of Jesus. Drawing inspiration from the Paris Experience and the Heroic Vow of St. John Baptist de La Salle, participants are invited to embody a profound heart for mission. This recollection is sustained by the Lasallian prayer: “Live Jesus in our hearts, forever.”
Recollection 3: Damayang Lasalyano
The third recollection, designed for junior students, centers on experiencing the presence of the God of goodness within their lives and communities through the spirit of damayan (solidarity). It underscores the significance of community and association in the Lasallian tradition. St. John Baptist de La Salle exemplified this spirit during his Parmenie Experience, where he encountered God’s compassion and renewal through the support of Sr. Louis. Students are invited to echo his devotion in the Lasallian prayer: “I will continue, O my God, to do all of my actions for the love of Thee.”
Retreat: Tipanang Lasalyano
The culminating retreat for senior students integrates the formative experiences of their Lasallian journey into a covenant with God. It emphasizes the values of faith, zeal for service, and communion in mission, preparing participants to become agents of social transformation. Rooted in the Rouen Experience of St. John Baptist de La Salle, the retreat highlights his enduring commitment to serve “the last, the lost, and the least.” This legacy continues through young Lasallians who strive to teach minds, touch hearts, transform lives, and act as catalyst of social transformation. The retreat is grounded in the Lasallian prayer: “I adore in all things, the will of God in my regard.”

Lasallian Patron Saints of Colleges
Since the time that our Father Founder, John Baptist de La Salle, has been recognized by the Catholic Church as a saint through his works and holiness, so is a long list of Lasallians who lived holy and exemplary lives serving as inspiration for all Lasallians entrusted with the mission. Recognizing the significance of Lasallian saints in strengthening the Lasallian identity, spirit of association and cultivation of vocations, the Strategic Intents and Capability-Building Measures particularly invites Lasallian institutions to “strengthen the integration of the Lasallian story, core values and education for vocation in the curriculum and school practices’ (SI and CBM on Lasallian Identity, Vocations and Association).
As a Lasallian institution taking cognizance of the invitation to strengthen the promotion of the Lasallian story and experience in the community, this is the project of Colleges to have their respective Lasallian Patrons to recognize the holy and exemplary lives of our Lasallian Saints to serve as spiritual inspirations and guardians.
