De La Salle University-Dasmariñas proudly announces the appointment of six distinguished researchers as the newest holders of prestigious Professorial Chairs, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, community development, and cultural heritage.
- Gov. Juanito R. Remulla, Sr. Professorial Chair in Political Science
Dr. Jose Aims Rocina, with Atty. Dennis Maldo, Josephine Cruz, and Rowell San Sebastian, will lead research on “Transforming Magallanes, Cavite from a 4th to 1st Class Municipality: Keys to Development.” - Geronimo Berenguer de los Reyes Jr. Professorial Chair in Cavite and Philippine History
Dr. Emmanuel Calairo will study “Ang Agosto 1, 1898, Asemblya sa Bacoor: Isang Pag-aaral Historiograpikal sa Panahon ng Himagsikang Pilipino.” - Florentino Herrera III Professorial Chair in History
Dr. Jesus Medina, with May Mojica and Dr. Jeffrey Lubang, will explore “Moda Devocional: Kasaysayan, Ebolusyon ng Kasuotan, at Kultural na Identidad ng mga Deboto ng Mahal na Birhen ng Candelaria sa Silang, Cavite.” - Noemi S. Usis Professorial Chair in Education
Dr. Henry Bernardo, with Dr. Mariano Thomas Ramirez, Jose De Leon, and Felinore Angelica Valera, will examine “Religious Education in an Evolving University Landscape: Challenges, Opportunities, and Lasallian Perspectives.” - Dr. Carlo R.H. Magno Distinguished Professorial Chair in Business
Dr. Jimford Tabuyo will lead research on “Economic Benefits of Street Vendors in the City of Dasmariñas Cavite.” - Br. Andrew Gonzalez, FSC Professorial Chair in Linguistics
Dr. Christian George Francisco, with Dr. Nornelyn Cachuela, will develop “Batayang Kurso sa Filipino bilang Banyagang Wika: Hango sa Karanasan ng Pamantasang De La Salle-Dasmariñas.”
