The Center for Student Admissions (CSA) Director Roman Angelico Ebron, along with Associate Directors Carolyn Jardiniano and Jacquelyn Torres, recently participated in two key professional development events.
On September 17 and 18, 2025, the team joined the annual Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA) Convention. The event covered a range of topics, including innovative recruitment strategies, best practices from other institutions, the ethical use of AI in education, and the integration of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). One of the highlights includes a presentation by Dr. Rowel Paras, DLSU-D's Associate Director for the Human Resource Management Office, who shared valuable research on strengthening human capital in schools.
Building on these insights, the CSA team also attended the "One Vision, Shared Measures: Empowering Progress through Assessment" conference organized by the Center of Educational Measurement, Inc. on September 19. This event provided an excellent opportunity for the team to collaborate with representatives from schools nationwide, sharing knowledge and strategies to improve assessment practices and ensure a seamless application process for all prospective students.
These engagements reaffirm CSA’s commitment to enhancing student application, marketing, and recruitment processes through a data-driven and student-centered approach.
