In line with the directives of Brother President and the commitment of the Safety, Health, and Wellness Office (SHWO) and University Health Clinic (UHC) to fostering a healthier campus community, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas has officially commenced Phase 1 of the Drinking Fountain Rehabilitation Program. This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
New drinking fountain units have been installed across key areas of the campus in collaboration with KOOLER Inc., the Building and Facilities Management Office (BFMO), the Campus Sustainability Office (CSO), and the UHC. These upgraded units have been fully operational since April 4.

Phase 1 of the program replaced 28 out of 57 existing drinking fountains. The new units are located in the Retreat and Conference Center, Ugnayang La Salle, Bahay Pag-Asa Center, Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez, ICTC, Male and Female Dormitories, College of Business Administration Building (CBA), GMH, PCH, JFH, CTH, FCH, LDH, the Grandstand, and SHS. Major improvements include upgrading from three to five water filters, ensuring even greater potability of the drinking water.
Phase 2 will follow, completing the rehabilitation by replacing the remaining older units on campus.
The SHWO also extends its gratitude to the DLSU-D Alumni Association, canteen concessionaires, and the Parents Organization of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Inc. (POLCA), for generously sponsoring new units and contributing to the success of the initiative.
Animo La Salle!
