The De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) delegation proudly brought home the Champion title at EDUTech Asia 2025, held on November 5–6 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore.
With the theme “Planet Protector: Sustainability,” the event gathered over 200 participants from across Asia to showcase innovations that protect the planet and inspire change.
The team, composed Computer Science Students Juliana Racquel C. Dunca, Mark Brian E. Garilao, Eloisa Joy B. Lumakang, Francesca Marie A. Tuazon, and coached by Associate Dean Rolando B. Barrameda impressed with their entry, ReStitch, a Google-powered mobile app designed to “repair the future of fashion.”
Through AI chatbot support, ReStitch helps users repair, repurpose, upcycle, and share clothing reducing textile waste and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The app supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 9, 11, 12, and 13), focusing on innovation, sustainable communities, responsible production, and climate action.
