As part of the University’s celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Office of Student Services (OSS) will hold an inspiring development session titled “Mental Wellness in Motion: Integrating Well-being Practices in Student Services Work” on October 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in GSB 108.
This event highlights the University’s commitment to promoting mental health and holistic well-being across its academic community. Designed especially for administrators, faculty members, and support staff, the session aims to explore practical approaches to nurturing mental wellness in student services—a key area in fostering a healthy and compassionate learning environment.
The session will be facilitated by Samuelle Feliz P. Hilario, RGC, a faculty member from the Philosophy and Psychology Department. With her expertise in guidance and counseling, Ms. Hilario will share valuable insights and techniques on how to integrate well-being practices into everyday student support work, emphasizing empathy, self-care, and a proactive approach to mental wellness.
By placing mental health at the heart of student services, OSS continues to advocate for a campus culture where every Lasallian—student, faculty, and staff alike—can thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially. Let’s work together to build a stronger, more mindful community—because mental health matters for everyone.
