Two De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) scholars will represent the Philippines at the 4th International Student Leaders Meeting on Sustainability (ISLMS 2026) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, from July 14 to 17, 2026.
Hanz Wendell Reginio, a BS Accountancy student, and Ghaylle Margarrette Dumalag, a BSBA Business Economics student, secured their participation through a competitive global selection process. The conference, jointly organized by UI GreenMetric and the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), will gather 50 student leaders from 44 universities across 25 countries.
Carrying the theme, "Global Youth Leadership for Sustainable Campuses: Driving Innovation, Collaboration and Digital Action," the conference will focus on advancing Climate Action (SDG 13) and Life on Land (SDG 15) through leadership discussions, workshops, and cultural exchange activities.
Ahead of the conference, DLSU-D, through the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), formally recognized the delegates during a contract signing ceremony on July 9, reaffirming the University's support for their participation.
