De La Salle University–Dasmariñas officially launched La Salle CARES (Confidential Advocacy and Response for Everyone’s Safety) on January 28, 2026, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the university’s support system for student well-being and safety.
The initiative is the result of a collaborative effort among the University Lasallian Family Office, Student Wellness Center, Campus Ministry Office, and University Chaplain’s Office. It aims to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for all members of the Lasallian community.
The program’s launch featured a discussion titled “The Pulse of a Generation: Youth and Their Well-Being” by Dr. Marie Gethsemanie Hilario, highlighting the importance of addressing mental health and safety concerns among the youth. This was followed by a reflection shared by Rev. Fr. Reinier Dumao, University Chaplain.
The event was facilitated by Ms. Diana Jean Roque, director of the University Lasallian Family Office, who shared the story behind La Salle CARES, including its objectives and the services it offers.
Through La Salle CARES, DLSU-Dasmariñas reinforces its commitment to the well-being of its students and the wider university community, ensuring that support and assistance are readily accessible to all.
