The De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSUD) Language Learning Center (LLC) recently concluded its Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Onsite Course, concluding the face-to-face phase of the certification program.
Participants completed an intensive 60-hour onsite training, which complemented their 120-hour online coursework. The blended format was designed to strengthen both theoretical grounding and practical teaching skills for aspiring and practicing English as a Second Language (ESL) educators.
Throughout the onsite sessions, participants demonstrated their competencies through lesson planning and demo teaching, applying effective classroom strategies in simulated learning environments. The program also provided a unique opportunity for trainees to engage directly with English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners from South Africa, allowing them to receive first-hand feedback and gain cross-cultural teaching experience.
The TESOL certification offered by the LLC, which is globally recognized, continues to prepare educators for professional opportunities in English language teaching both locally and abroad.
Following the successful completion of the course, the LLC has announced that registrations are now open for the upcoming TESOL BASIC batch.
