The Herminia D. Torres Quality Assurance Office takes the lead in policy formulation, quality improvement and capacity building activities meant to assure, maintain and enhance the quality of the university’s programs and services. Specifically, the HDTQAO:

• Together with the Management Council and in consultation with stakeholders, takes the lead in the quality management and quality development efforts of the university.
• Oversees accreditation activities including:
  • Program and institutional accreditation with the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU);
  • International Organization for Standardization (ISO); and
  • ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).
• Formulates policies, guidelines, and processes to sustain and enhance the internal quality assurance mechanisms of the university.
• Closely coordinates with the ASEAN quality assurance community for emerging developments and capacity building.
• Carries out capacity building activities on quality assurance for the members of the academic community particularly the members of the Quality Assurance Committee of the colleges.
