International Conference on Values and Religious Education

Theme: EMPOWERING THE FUTURE WITH FAITH AND CHARACTER: Bridging Values and Religious Education to the NXT Gen and to the Church’s Pilgrims of Hope

The third International Conference is intended to present discourses and encounters for diocesan, parish, professional teachers, campus and school organizers who may find the conference useful in bridging Values Transformation and Religious Education to the:

  • Generations throughout the years, with a focus on today's Generation Beta in this technology-mediated or A.I. age landscape,
  • Conduct and celebrated pilgrim programs of parishes during the Holy Jubilee Year; and
  • Formal and non-formal pedagogical knowledge, historical realities, cultural sensitivity, and academic studies.

The ICVRE 2025 organizing committee invites researchers to present their papers during the conference. Suggested topics include, but not limited to, the following:

To present at the conference, your abstract must first pass a “double-blind” peer review process. Please take note of the following:

Important dates:

  • Deadline for submission of abstract: October 31, 2025
  • Results of abstract review: November 3, 2025
  • Deadline for registration and payment of registration fee: October 31, 2025
  • Deadline for submission of bio-note, ID picture, and optional pre-recorded video: November 5, 2025

Guide for Paper Presenters:

  • Submit an abstract of your paper (around 250 words) on or before October 31, 2025. Send your abstract to the email address: jtcasidsid@dlsud.edu.ph
  • Your proposal will normally be reviewed through a double-blind peer review process.
  • If your paper is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email from the ICVRE 2025 organizing committee.
  • Presentation on November 8 is preferably done real-time or live. A pre-recorded video of your presentation is optional. The video file must be in MP4 format, landscape orientation, and with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Please check the quality of your video before uploading. It is recommended that your video includes a window box with the speaking presenter, instead of a voice-over presentation only. Send your video to: icvre@dlsud.edu.ph
  • You must be available for a short Q and A during your presentation timeslot.
  • After the conference, we invite you to submit a copy of your full paper to the DLSU-D journal Academia Lasalliana Journal of Education and Humanities for it to undergo the review process for publication. Please take note that this is optional and although the organizing committee will recommend your paper, it does not automatically make your paper acceptable for publication.
