Five students from the College of Education (COED) have officially signed their contracts for the student subsidy under the Linking Academics and Young Ambassadors Globally (LAYAG) Program of the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER).
The LAYAG awardees include Mariel Nicole Babagay, Denisse Ashley Frani, and Lerma Sales, who will conduct their field study at Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU) in Thailand, and Christel Angele Ferrer and Xavier Lance Mendoza, who will complete theirs at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).
The contract signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Arvin Gacelo, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Nornelyn Lim-Cachuela, Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations, together with the students’ parents and guardians.
The LAYAG Program underscores DLSU-D’s commitment to fostering global academic mobility, empowering students to gain valuable cross-cultural learning and international teaching experiences. Through initiatives like this, the University continues to nurture globally competent Lasallian educators who embody excellence, service, and leadership across borders.
