De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSUD) recently unveiled and blessed the newly redesigned Julian Felipe Hall (JFH) Kubos, held alongside the university’s monthly flag-raising ceremony at Acacia Road.
Held every first Monday of the month, the simple yet meaningful flag-raising ceremony gathered students, faculty, staff, and university administrators. The program opened with the entrance of colors led by the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), followed by the invocation by University Chaplain Rev. Fr. Reiner Dumaop. The Philippine National Anthem was sung by Mr. Paul and Mrs. Lanie Alaman of Kabalikat ng DLSU-D, while the Pledge of Allegiance was led by College of Liberal Arts and Communication Student Government (CLACSG) Governor Francine Roraldo. The flag-raising ceremony was hosted by AB Communication senior Gabrielle Marie S. Antenor-Cruz.
Messages from University President Br. Iñigo Riola, FSC, and CLAC Dean Dr. Edwin F. Lineses, PhD, highlighted the importance of shared campus spaces that inspire creativity, collaboration, and community. A formal blessing followed, officially opening the newly renovated JFH Kubos, and was capped by a simple snack.
Reimagined to support the evolving needs of the student body, the upgraded learning hubs on the East Campus now feature expanded seating, enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity, and dedicated charging stations. A standout addition is a performance space designed to host creative activities and intimate events.
Br. Riola encouraged students to fully utilize and enjoy the enhanced facilities as part of their daily campus experience. The improvements reflect the university’s continued commitment to providing welcoming and functional spaces where every Lasallian can connect, create, and thrive.
