Throughout the years, the LCDC has been fortunate to work with a host of organizations who share the same vision and goal.
Alay-Kapwa Foundation
A non-government organization in Paliparan, Damarinas, Cavite dedicated to helping less fortunate families in the province. It provides various tools and services to assist individuals in different predicaments.
Arnold Janssen Catholic Mission Foundation, Inc.
A partner foundation in the implementation of Alternative Learning System (ALS), which is a non-formal education program of the Department of Education (DepEd). The learning intervention program is designed to equip out-of-school youths or dropouts with the necessary competencies prior to taking the Accreditation and Equivalency test.
Bahay Tuluyan (Home for Girls)
A residential rehabilitation facility of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) designed for girls below 18 years old who are in difficult circumstances. The center aims to provide children with residential care and rehabilitation services in preparation for more appropriate family care management. Services of the center include social services; home life/group living service; educational service; health service; psychological and psychiatric service; moral and spiritual formation enhancement; recreational, sports and socio-civic services; after care, and follow up service.
Bahay Kalinga
A temporary shelter for children in conflict with the law ages 15-17 and to street kids ages 6-12.
Batong Sandigan Development Foundation
A non-government organization in Paliparan, Dasmariñas, Cavite. The foundation provides various trainings on livelihood, environment, health and education and has been a partner of the University since 1997.
Brgy. Fatima, City of Dasmariñas
Partnership with Brgy. Fatima is primarily focused on areas of good governance and responsible citizenship. However, it also responds to expressed needs of barangay in areas of social and educational services, environment, formation enhancements and community needs.
Brgy. Pinagsanhan-B, Maragondon
Partnership with this barangay emerged when residents of partner community Brgy. Sta. Mercedes transferred in Brgy. Pinagsanhan-B to give way to tourism developments and related livelihood opportunities for Maragondon. LCDC assists the barangay in various areas of community and social development, which includes education, youth formation, capacity buildings and other trainings deemed necessary by the community.
Brgy. Tua, Magallanes
Being the newest partner community, LCDC is in the phase of conducting community assessments and initial project implementations in Brgy. Tua, Magallanes. Guided by participatory process of community engagement, a well- represented members of the barangay spearheaded the identification and prioritization of community programs. The results of the assessments provide basis for community consultations and engagements to pave way for the implementation of a more relevant community development program and the fostering of meaningful partnership.
Brgy. Zone 1-A, City of Dasmariñas
LCDC works hand-in-hand with Brgy. Zone 1-A in areas of advocacy, good governance, environment and youth formation. Other projects that are deemed necessary in the fulfillment of the goals of the partnership are discussed by involved sectors and, if possible, completed through a formal agreement.
Bukid Kabataan Center
A center that caters to children, who were physically and sexually abused, neglected and/or abandoned. Programs and services are directed towards healing and total development of both male and female children, which encompasses the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development. Partnership and activities with the Center are mostly done through the National Service Training Program-Community Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS).
Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)
City of Dasmariñas The institution addresses the concerns on jail management and penology in the City of Dasmariñas. It’s partnership with DLSU-D, through LCDC, is centered on guidance counseling and psych education sessions for personnel and inmates.
Cavite Greens Coalition - Kalikasan
An active environmental group that conducts research, education, training, advocacy and campaign activities on emerging environmental concerns of Cavite. The networks of CGC-K allows the LCDC to work closely with other organizations, institutions, sectors and units by pooling out resources, consulting environmental expert and implementing activities for the advancement of different environmental concerns.
De La Salle – University Medical Center
A health care institution and the principal teaching hospital of the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute owned by the Brothers of Christian Schools, a Catholic congregation founded by St. John Baptist de La Salle. The hospital is administered by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, an apostolic congregation engaged in health care ministry in response to the love of God. It offers assistance in blood donation activities and free chest x-rays to indigent residents of partner communities.
Diocese of Imus Ministry on Ecology (DIMEc)
A church-based group devoted to promote the environment and take an active role as stewards of God’s creation. Partnership with DIMEc is focused on environment and in working with other environmental groups.
Eco-Waste Coalition
An environmental network aimed at pursuing sustainable solutions to waste, climate change and chemical issues. LCDC takes part in nationwide activities of the Eco-Waste Coalition and supports agenda geared for the conservation and protection of the environment.
Fishgate Foundation Inc.
A non-government organization that helps disadvantaged Filipino children and communities build their dreams and make them come to life. The Foundation provides a safe haven for children and fosters an environment of hope and positive values in a self-sustaining community. Programs include health and nutrition, education, psychosocial and values formation and residential care.
Gawad Kalinga Foundation
A community development foundation known for building homes for and by the poor with the help of sponsors. It is a partner of the University not only in the building of homes but also in the provision of other services such as education, skills trainings and values formation.
Greenpeace South East Asia
An environmental group that campaigns for the reduction and elimination of environmental pollution. Partnership involves the support and implementation of environmental activities, as well as lobbying with governments for sustainable energy issues.
De La Salle Health Sciences Institute
An Lasallian medical institution committed to forming medical and health allied professionals. Partnership involves the provision of free chest x-ray by the College of Medical Radiation Technology (CMRT) to underprivileged residents of LCDC partner communities.
Home of Joy
child-caring and welfare institution licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and run by the Christian Growth Ministries, it provides a residential care program for 0-4 years old, a foster care program for children ages 0-16, and a child sponsorship program for ages 7-15 for educational assistance. Group Home for Independent Living Program is also implemented for two groups of siblings ages 14-21 in preparation for their independent living in the future.
Institute for Development of Ecological Alternative System
An environmental organization that aims to formulate and educate alternative ways of ecological living.
Mama's Hope Haven of Norway
A non-government organization that provides a custodial care to neglected, homeless and disadvantaged children, elderly and women in difficult situation. It is home to kids ages 2 to 22 years old and to the elderly, aged 60 and above.
Provincial Cooperative Livelihood Entrepreneurial Development Office
A government unit that provides technical support for the development of business organizations within the Province. Partnership involves the sharing of resources on entrepreneurial development and the conduct of skills training and seminars to assist Medium Small Entrepreneurs (MSEs).
Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM)
A movement committed to the cause of the Filipino. It is the first NGO to send workers to the villages to implement integrated, four-fold program of education, livelihood, health, and self-governance. The partnership with PRRM was established through the project management team in Barangay Sta. Mercedes, Maragondon, Cavite. It has been a partner of the University since 2003.
Tahanang Vedruna (Sisters of Carmelites)
The Tahanan Vedruna, run by Vedruna Foundation, is a home to children from poor families who may have parents but are unable to receive basic needs for normal living. These children have emotionally and physically suffered the consequences of poverty and the dysfunctional relationship of their parents. They experienced not only lack of basic needs of food, clothing and shelter but the love, care and attention of parents as well. The center, aside from providing their basic needs, accompanies them in their process of growth in a family atmosphere.
DILG–WATSAN Hub for Region 4A
DLSU-D, through LCDC is a member of a consortium of Capacity Development Providers that mentor, coach and assist LGUs of SALINTUBIG and ADM-Provision of Potable Water Supply Programs. LCDC provides capacity building programs, services and knowledge to waterless municipalities for the implementation of Integrated Safe Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (iWaSH) Program.
