DLSU-D High School Honors Resident Birds
September 19, 2025 | By ALLYSA AREGLO
De La Salle University-Dasmariñas proudly celebrates the thriving bird population within its campus, home to more than 36 resident species that enrich the environment and serve as vital bioindicators of ecological health.
These feathered companions embody the vibrant biodiversity nurtured at DLSU-D and stand as symbols of the university’s longstanding commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
In line with the upcoming Biodiversity Celebration, the High School Complex has unveiled creative representations of these resident birds, showcasing their role as guardians of the campus ecosystem.
The Lasallian community is encouraged to join this initiative by honoring the university’s winged guardians. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to share their encounters with campus birds using #WingedGuardiansDLSUD, helping raise awareness and appreciation for biodiversity conservation.
