A group of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering students from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) is participating in an international student exchange program at Multimedia University (MMU) in Melaka, Malaysia, from June 28 to July 10, 2026, under the institutions' existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The program immerses students in hands-on training in robotics, two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) computer-aided design (CAD), and 3D printing while fostering collaboration with international peers. On the first day, participants toured MMU's engineering laboratories, classrooms, and learning facilities, gaining exposure to the university's advanced equipment and learning environment.
The exchange program will culminate in a robotics competition, allowing students to apply the knowledge and skills they developed throughout the training.
Through initiatives such as this, DLSU-D continues to expand global learning opportunities that strengthen students' technical expertise, innovation, intercultural competence, and international collaboration.
