DLSU-D concludes Manila Bay plastic pollution study with Ecowaste

De La Salle University - Dasmariñas joined Ecological Waste Coalition of the Philippines in the study entitled "Assessment of Plastic Pollution Along Manila Bay: Solid Waste Collection Efficiency Assessment of Selected Local Government Units Along Manila Bay."

Dr. Johnny Ching, director of the University Research Office, and Dr. Jonathan Rubio headed the marine litter survey in selected areas along Manila Bay, while Dr. Mario Torres headed the research team in the conduct of the waste collection efficiency assessment of selected LGUs along Manila Bay.

Lasallian Mission Office (LMO) Director Maria Nena C. Caspe of the LaSallian Community Development Center headed the research teams in conducting the the plastic pollution awareness survey along Manila Bay. Meanwhile, SHS Vice Principal Marlon Pareja prepared the consolidated research reports, and collaborated with a group of researchers-authors in the field of environmental science, social sciences, and municipal solid waste management as commissioned by the EcoWaste Coalition (EWC) of the Philippines.
