Season of Creation 2022

The De La Salle University-Dasmarinas community joins nations celebrating the Season of Creation 2022 with the theme, “Listen to the Voice of Creation.”
The Season of Creation is one of the significant events in the Church, having its roots through the proclamation of Creation Day for the Eastern Orthodox Church in 1989. Since then various groups and major Christian Churches have embraced the said celebration, including the Catholic Church through Pope Francis when he declared September 1 as the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation in 2015. Being one of the signatories in the Laudato Si’ Action Platforms, our university is currently taking concrete steps to help us fulfill our stewardship roles. We are called to actively participate and provide contributions to all efforts relevant to sustainability and caring for our common home.
With this, we are inviting you to be with us in this monthlong journey, as we continue to build new pathways that will help us listen to the voice of creation and uphold the dignity of life, justice, peace and integral ecology," CMO Director Ronante Angeles said.
