The Religious Education Department will hold the 4th National Conference on Values and Religious Education via Zoom, Listening to the Beats: Fostering Religious and Values Education for Transformative and Sustainable Education on June 15, 2024.
Religious and values education plays an important role in shaping individuals' worldviews, attitudes, and behaviors. In a society characterized by cultural diversity and interconnectedness, the need for inclusive and sustainable perspectives is more vital than ever. Additionally, the imperative for social transformation towards a just and equitable society necessitates the active engagement of religious and values education.
Inspired by the Holy Father's call to "listen to the beats of the signs of the times," NCVRE 2024 focuses on three interwoven sub-themes:
The National Conference on Values and Religious Education (NCVRE) 2024 invites educators, researchers, and practitioners to submit research papers that align with the theme: “Listen to the Beats”: Fostering Religious and Values Education for a Transformative and Sustainable Education. This will be held online via Zoom on June 15, 2024.
Prospective authors are invited to submit original contributions focusing on the sub-themes of Inclusion, Sustainability, and Social Transformation in religious and values education. Submissions should address, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Abstract Submission:
Authors of accepted papers will have the opportunity to present their work in the parallel session.
Authors of accepted papers must register for the conference to ensure inclusion in the program.
